Deets: Northwest Kansas will always have a special place in my heart. My parents grew up there. The met there. They were married there. And all my grandparents are buried there. It’s been several years since the last time I visited Hays; and the ever growing town still has its charm. Before meeting a childhood friend and fellow army brat for lunch at Gella’s Diner, Jay and I took a stroll down Main Street. A lover of all things trains, Jay took this shot of Hays’ tracks.
