This Thanksgiving, I’m increasingly thankful for a very rich, full year spent with the people I love doing the things I love the most. This big and wonderful world continues to amaze me in all its diversity and light. I’d like to share five lessons (via quotes) I’ve learned this year:
The best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own. You do not blame them on your mother, the ecology or the president. You realize that you control your own destiny. ~Albert Einstein
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~John Lennon
Being loved deeply by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. ~Lao Tzu
What inspires you? I’d love to hear from you. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
